Sunday

On Sunday we got up around 8:00. We ordered room service and I got chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and an strawberry orange smoothie. Yum! Then we got dressed and went on a hike that went along the Eno River that we could swim in! We got subway and had a wonderful lunch out in the wilderness. Then we checked out this really old house. We got in the car and went back to the hotel. When we got back we got in our bathing suits and went swimming again. Next we had went to a Italian restaurant and I got some really good pasta. Then we walked six blocks to an actual Ben and Jerry's ice cream store. Mmmhhhmmm the best ice cream ever. Then we went to a Walgreens and I got a mason jar to catch......... FIREFLIES!!!! So when we got to the hotel my mom and I went on the walk around the lake and I was running around catching fireflies. Then my mom yelled "DEER" and I ran over and there it was a deer. Now I've seen a lot of deer before, but this one was so exciting for some reason. Then after that we went back to the hotel I fell right asleep.
